What We Do
EFC is an independent, equity research house focused on frontier and small emerging markets. We founded EFC to provide institutional investors in our markets with truly independent research that could provide them with innovative and thought-provoking research that is produced without any conflicts of interest, as we have no brokerage or investment banking businesses.
Our focus regions are Sub-Sahara Africa (SSA), Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Central & Eastern Europe, Central Asia (CEECA), South Asia (SA) and South East Asia (SEA). In what are less-covered markets, we offer deep institutional knowledge and databases with many years of data on our markets and companies that we share with our clients.
Our focus sectors are Consumer, Financial, Telco and Industrial sectors. In addition to our bottom-up company and sector research, we also provide macro and strategy research on our focus markets. Where requested by our clients, we also provide bespoke research – so, please do reach out to us.
